Metropolitan General’s Reconstructive Urology and Surgical Andrology Clinic accommodates state-of-the-art equipment and covers both the fields of classic urology and male, female and child urinary and reproductive system reconstruction with the most modern methods, regardless of whether the defects are congenital (present at birth) or due to previous damages (e.g. road accidents, complications from previous surgeries, etc).
The Clinic holds extensive experience in the treatment of urological cancers (prostate, bladder, kidneys, etc), benign prostate hyperplasia and renal lithiasis (stones). Chief Mr. Mertziotis and his team have acquired further education on gynecological urology (bladder control problems, prolapse and incontinence), male sexuality (erectile dysfunction or impotence, infertility and sterility), reconstructive urology and laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgery.
The team is highly specialized in the most modern surgical techniques, which are characterized by minimum surgical intervention. The main priority is the establishment of trust with the patient and his/her relatives, as well as his/her care and satisfaction at all levels for the whole time the treatment lasts. The associate-physicians and the entire staff of the Clinic are available on a 24-hour basis to address any issues relating to patient needs and care, both inside and outside the hospital.
