Digital mammography
Metropolitan General’s digital mammography unit, Selenia, has received the “Mammographic Type Test” certification from the European Reference Organization, for its high quality image standards and exceptionally low radiation dose. It has significant advantages which improve breast cancer diagnosis and reduce the probability of repeat and localizing-complementary images. In addition, digital mammography is complementary assessed with a computer-aided diagnosis system (CAD-R2) which improves diagnostic results further.
All test results are permanently stored for comparative evaluation.
