There is close cooperation with Metropolitan Group’s Department of Radiotherapy, which accommodates high-end technological equipment, while, in cooperation with well equipped specialized centers, the Clinic can manage cases requiring radiosurgical treatment, such as γ-Knife or CyberKnife radiation.
Collaborating with the Central Laboratories, the Department of Medical Imaging, the Department of Nuclear Medicine and the Department of Endoscopies of Metropolitan General, the Clinic performs:
- Specialized blood tests
- CT- and MRI-scans, ultrasounds, scintigraphies, digital mammography with state-of-the-art equipment, digestive tract endoscopy, bronchoscopy and EUS-guided fine needle aspiration biopsy (EUS-FNA)
Lastly, the Clinic cooperates with specialized centers abroad for patient consultation or visit, where necessary.
The Clinic’s pool of scientists holds extensive experience and has treated a large number of patients with oncological or hematological diseases; a fact which, in combination with continuous medical education, guarantees the most modern medical treatment.
Focusing on the human factor, the goal of the highly specialized and well trained medical and nursing personnel is to provide continuous and holistic monitoring and therapeutic approach to the oncology-hematology patient, as well as symptomatic and psychological support to the patient and his/her relatives, with the ability to provide comprehensive services on a 24/7 basis.
