The 3rd Department of Internal Medicine at Metropolitan General is run by distinguished scientific staff. The Department provides high-level services to both inpatients and outpatients.
Inpatients are managed and treated on a 24-hour basis by the Department's staff.
The Department's doctors are highly trained, experienced, and with an unparalleled sense
of responsibility towards each patient. The provision of services extends to the whole spectrum of Internal Medicine, assisted by colleagues in other specialties, where necessary. Particular emphasis is placed by both the Chief and the associates of the Department on patient screening, with the help of Metropolitan General's cutting-edge equipment. Our staff receives ongoing information and education on the advances in the specialty of Internal Medicine as well as in the field of Medicine in general.
The Department runs a well-organized electronic filing system for keeping all patients' medical records in compliance with the Code of Ethics. Its staff includes a highly trained Infectious Diseases Specialist and a highly trained Hepatologist who heads the Hepatology (Liver) Clinic of the 3rd Department of Internal Medicine.
