Stathis Nikou was born in Athens in 1973. He graduated from the German School of Athens and was admitted to the Military Medical School in Thessaloniki in 1990.
He specialized in General Surgery at the 401 Military Hospital in the 2nd Surgical Clinic of "Evangelismos" Hospital and in centers in Sweden and Switzerland.
In 2009, he pursued further training in Liver-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery at Chirurgische Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg in Germany (Prof. Büchler).
WORK EXPERIENCE
Surgeon in charge at the Surgical Clinics of Military Hospitals in Athens and Alexandroupolis.
Head of the Liver-Biliary-Pancreatic Unit of the 5th Surgical Clinic at Metropolitan General since 2021.
