Rosa: Robotic-assisted system for knee arthroplasty
Metropolitan General is equipped with the state-of-the-art Rosa robotic-assisted system for orthopedic procedures by Zimmer-Biomet. The system features highly detailed and flexible software, as well as a multi-motion robotic arm that indicates the exact position where surgical maneuvers should be performed, thus offering the highest level of precision in knee arthroplasty placement.
The artificial joint is implanted based on the patient’s anthropometric characteristics, leading to excellent postoperative outcomes and increased implant longevity. In addition, real-time monitoring of the patient’s anatomical data through dedicated software provides appropriate feedback to the physician and supports personalized adjustment based on individual needs.
The detailed surgical technique offered by the Rosa robotic system helps minimize complications and enables faster postoperative recovery.
