Metropolitan General operates an International Patients Department (I.P.D.) dedicated to assisting patients from abroad who visit the Clinic.
The I.P.D. is responsible for the timely submission of all necessary documents and information to the relevant international organizations and authorities, in order to ensure that each case is pre-approved prior to the patient’s arrival.
The Department communicates directly with the patient, providing guidance, clarifications and support both before admission and throughout the hospital stay. This direct communication helps address any questions promptly and prevents delays or administrative difficulties.
Following discharge, the Department liaises with international insurance providers to process and submit all necessary documentation required to complete the patient’s insurance coverage.
The specialized staff of the I.P.D. ensure continuous, responsible and high-quality information and support for international patients.
