The Cardiology Department of Metropolitan General is one of the most advanced and state-of-the-art centers in the field of preventive, diagnostic, clinical, and therapeutic cardiology. The Department’s objective is the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, early diagnosis, thorough investigation, and responsible management of patients with cardiovascular conditions, in accordance with international standards.
The Department includes a Cardiology Outpatient Unit, a Cardiology Laboratory, a Hemodynamic Laboratory, and is supported by the Intensive Care Unit of the Clinic.
The advanced equipment, along with highly specialized medical and nursing staff, ensures high diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.
Within the framework of Interventional Cardiology, Metropolitan General meets all diagnostic and therapeutic needs of patients, whenever required, on a 24-hour basis. In addition to accurate and comprehensive diagnosis, it offers the most reliable and up-to-date therapeutic solutions available in the field of interventional cardiology.
The Department is staffed by specially trained and distinguished interventional cardiologists, as well as experienced nursing and technical personnel.

- TAVI: Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (non-surgical valve replacement) using advanced neuroprotection techniques

- Percutaneous closure of atrial septal defects / paravalvular leaks

All cardiology beds are equipped with advanced telemetry monitoring systems, enabling continuous 24-hour monitoring of patients with cardiac conditions.
