Interventional Radiology uses minimally invasive techniques that safely treat a wide range of conditions while minimizing physical trauma to the patient. These procedures are performed with the guidance of imaging modalities such as X-rays, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), and Digital Angiography. They reduce procedure time and hospitalization and are most often performed without general anesthesia.
