The Department of Interventional Radiology and Peripheral Vessels at Metropolitan General, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by specialized Interventional Radiologists, applies the most advanced minimally invasive therapeutic techniques.
The Department is capable of addressing complex diagnostic challenges and successfully treating a wide range of conditions, including diseases of the liver, biliary system, and kidneys, infertility and uterine fibroids, liver cancer, hypertension, osteoporotic and non-osteoporotic fractures, and vascular diseases (aneurysms, stenoses, vascular occlusions, etc.).
In addition, it provides 24/7 emergency assessment and treatment for conditions such as hemorrhage, trauma, and acute aneurysms.
Its contribution is also significant, in collaboration with the Department of Medical Imaging, in the management of oncological diseases through the application of the most advanced minimally invasive techniques and practices.
