Metropolitan General’s Clinic of Arrhythmias-Electrophysiology and Pacing is staffed by renowned and experienced personnel. The Clinic’s physicians have received specialization in the field of electrophysiology after their postgraduate training at institutions abroad, while they have also acquired extensive and diverse experience from private, public, and teaching hospitals both in Greece and abroad.
All specialists at the Clinic place a high premium on providing medical care in accordance with the most recent scientific findings, European Guidelines, and Personalized Medicine, while always considering the unique needs of each patient and their family. The Clinic’s specialists hold European certification in Electrophysiology and Pacing from the European Heart Rhythm Association, which ensures high standard and excellent delivery of healthcare services, placing our Clinic among the few nationwide to hold such certifications. Moreover, our specialists actively participate in both domestic and international conferences and workshops, while maintaining a strong presence in medical literature through their research and authoring in international scientific journals.
The aim of our Clinic is to reliably and robustly cover all arrhythmia cases -from diagnosis to treatment, from physical examination to electrocardiogram (ECG) to complex ablation procedures. In particular, we run a specialized Arrhythmias & Pacing Office and we also perform bradyarrhythmias and tachyarrhythmias treatment procedures, including implantation of a pacemaker, defibrillator, biventricular device; supraventricular and ventricular tachycardia ablation procedures; atrial fibrillation ablation procedures with a high-frequency current mapping system or cryoablation. Utilizing the capabilities of Metropolitan General’s top-notch equipment and modern infrastructure, all procedures are carried out based on the most recent methodologies and advancements.
