- When the scintigraphy is performed 5 to 7 days after treatment with radioactive iodine, no preparation is required.
- After administration of thyrotropin alfa: (1st injection, 2nd injection, 3rd - administration of 5 mCi I-131, 4th blood sampling, 5th imaging). No preparation is required.
- After discontinuation of treatment, where ONLY in this case preparation is needed:
T4 1 month
T3 2 weeks
