Preparation:
You should not have undergone a CT scan with intravenous contrast during the previous 2 weeks. In general, you should not have used any iodine-containing preparations.
Procedure:
The first images will be taken 10 minutes after the radiopharmaceutical is administered.
You will then wait in the Department’s designated waiting area for 2 hours. During this time, two additional scans will be performed, one at 1 hour and one at 2 hours after administration.
