3rd Vascular Surgery Clinic – Clinic of Minimally Invasive Endovascular Surgery

The 3rd Vascular Surgery Clinic, under the direction of Vascular Surgeon Dr. Ioannis Tsagos, MD, MSc, PhD(c), aims to treat vascular diseases using the most advanced minimally invasive methods, namely endovascular procedures.

Endovascular procedures aim to provide safer treatment, faster recovery, and optimal cosmetic results in almost all vascular diseases affecting the aorta, arteries, or veins. These procedures allow treatment without surgical incisions and utilize modern devices such as stents, balloons, and other specialized instruments. They minimize the need for blood transfusion in major procedures and reduce the length of hospital stay.

At the same time, the clinic’s vascular surgery team also utilizes the advantages of open (conventional) vascular surgery, as well as the combination of different methods (hybrid procedures), whenever this is beneficial for the patient, achieving equally excellent results.
