Robotic, Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Urology Clinic

The Robotic, Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Urology Clinic covers the full spectrum of modern urology, providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical services.

Urological Oncology

Using robotic surgery, the entire spectrum of urological oncology is performed, achieving:

  • Excellent oncological outcomes
  • Shorter operative time and reduced duration under general anesthesia
  • Minimal blood loss and lower risk associated with transfusions
  • Smaller incisions, less pain, faster recovery, and fewer side effects from analgesics
  • Shorter hospital stay, reduced risk of hospital-acquired infections, and lower overall cost
  • Rapid return to normal daily activities
  • Improved preservation of neurovascular bundles, resulting in better erectile function and absence of postoperative urinary incontinence

Procedures performed using the robotic system:

  • Radical Prostatectomy
  • Radical Nephrectomy
  • Partial Nephrectomy
  • Radical Cystectomy
  • Pyeloplasty
  • Varicocele repair

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

A minimally invasive method for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia is the “TURis plasma vaporization” technique.

Conventional transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) was for many years the most effective treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia.

However, since 2008, prostate vaporization using the TURis plasma electrode has provided a minimally invasive solution for benign prostatic hyperplasia, with minimal bleeding, one-day hospitalization, and catheterization for one day, while also allowing tissue sampling for biopsy.

Urolithiasis

Laser lithotripsy is a minimally invasive and effective surgical method for the treatment of urinary stone disease, with minimal complications. It is used for stones of the kidney, ureter, and urinary bladder. The procedure requires anesthesia and a one-day hospital stay.

Stones smaller than one centimeter are treated with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), which lasts approximately 40 minutes, does not require anesthesia, and allows the patient to return home the same day.
