The residents of Neapoli Voion in Laconia warmly welcomed the medical team of the Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG), which visited the area on June 13-14, 2026, as part of the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, “Pantou” (“Everywhere”).
Doctors, nursing staff, and administrative personnel from Metropolitan Hospital, Hygeia, and Metropolitan General traveled to the region, where the specialized medical team provided free clinical and preventive health screenings to local residents. A vascular surgeon, cardiologist, orthopedic surgeon, breast surgeon, and otorhinolaryngologist (ENT specialist) conducted more than 300 medical examinations.
The initiative was carried out in close cooperation with the local authorities and the area’s Health Center, ensuring optimal conditions for welcoming and examining citizens.
It is worth noting that, to date, the Group has organized 34 volunteer outreach campaigns, examined 14,729 residents, and performed 52,755 medical and diagnostic tests in the following areas: Lipsi–Agathonisi, Achilleio–Agioi Theodoroi, Nafpaktos, Lechaina–Varda, Papades–Agia Anna (Evia), Gravia–Delphi, Rovies–Mantoudi (Evia), Dimitsana (Arcadia), Ypati–Pavliani, Konitsa, Tzia (Kea), Agios Dimitrios–Pothi (Evia), Stymfalia–Feneos (Mountainous Corinthia), Stropones–Metochi (Evia), Skyros, Karpenisi, Karpathos, Kalavryta, Kalampaka, Leros, Tilos, Nisyros, Argos Orestiko, Symi, Argithea (Agrafa), Kasos, Astypalaia, Sifnos, Vonitsa, Farkadona (Thessaly), Krestena (Ilia), Milos, Meganisi, and Neapoli Voion.
At the same time, HHG supports local Health Centers and medical clinics by providing medical equipment, as well as pharmaceutical and healthcare supplies.
