5th Vascular Surgery Clinic

Modern vascular surgery is rapidly evolving, with endovascular techniques representing the most advanced approach to the treatment of vascular diseases.
At the 5th Clinic of Vascular Surgery – Endovascular & Minimally Invasive Techniques Clinic, a comprehensive, high-quality range of services is provided, aiming at personalized, safe, and effective treatment for every patient.

The clinic’s philosophy, shaped by extensive clinical experience in the United States, is based on the application of the latest international guidelines combined with cutting-edge technology. Special emphasis is placed on endovascular techniques, which allow the treatment of even complex conditions without the need for open surgery, offering faster recovery.

Aortic Diseases

The management of aortic diseases requires a high level of expertise and experience. The Clinic applies both open surgical and endovascular techniques (EVAR, TEVAR).

  • Abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms
  • Aortic syndromes (aortic dissection, intramural hematoma, penetrating aortic ulcer)

Peripheral Arterial Disease

Peripheral arterial disease is associated with significant cardiovascular risk. The Clinic specializes in the prevention and management of complications, aiming at limb salvage and improved quality of life.

  • Endovascular techniques (angiography, balloon angioplasty, stenting, lithotripsy, atherectomy), open procedures (endarterectomy, bypass), as well as hybrid techniques for lower limb revascularization
  • Management of critical limb ischemia
  • Risk factor modification and treatment of intermittent claudication
  • Management of chronic ulcers

Carotid Artery Disease

Carotid artery disease is directly associated with an increased risk of stroke. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential.

  • Carotid endarterectomy
  • Carotid artery stenting

Venous Insufficiency

Venous insufficiency is the most common vascular condition and significantly affects quality of life. The clinic applies modern minimally invasive techniques (laser, radiofrequency, sclerotherapy).

  • Varicose veins
  • Spider veins
  • Telangiectasias

Vascular Access

Vascular access is essential for hemodialysis.

  • Creation of arteriovenous fistulas
  • Insertion of central venous catheters
  • Endovascular management of vascular access dysfunction

Diabetic Foot

Diabetic foot is one of the most serious complications of diabetes mellitus and is closely associated with peripheral arterial disease and microangiopathy. Early diagnosis and specialized vascular intervention are critical to prevent severe infections and amputations.

  • Lower limb revascularization when required
  • Ulcer management and wound care
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration (internists, diabetologists, infectious disease specialists, orthopedic surgeons)
  • Prevention strategies and long-term follow-up

The goal is limb salvage, restoration of function, and improvement of the patient’s quality of life.

Venous Thrombosis

Venous thrombosis may lead to serious complications such as pulmonary embolism. Prompt diagnosis and appropriate treatment are crucial.

  • Interventional treatment using endovascular techniques (thrombectomy)
  • Management of post-thrombotic syndrome

Other Conditions

  • Lymphedema
  • Lipedema
  • Pelvic Congestion Syndrome
  • Visceral aneurysms
