Michael Glynos was born in Andros and was awarded a degree in Medicine by the Medical School of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. He was specialized in Radiodiagnostics at the Naval Hospital of Athens and Evangelismos and further specialized in Interventional Radiology at the Guy's & St. Thomas Hospital, NHS Hospital, London, during 1994-1996.
