As part of the new program, a team of 61 volunteers comprising of doctors, nurses, and administrative staff from the HHG Group hospitals—visited the island of Astypalaia from June 14th to 16th and provided free healthcare services to the local population. Over 420 residents were examined, and more than 1,700 medical and diagnostic tests were conducted.
Mr. Nikolaos Komineas, Mayor of Astypalaia, stated:
